Define the global strategy of the Life Science business through the development and execution of commercial plans that ensure business development as well as the achievement of sales and profitability objectives established in the annual budget, with the support of a commercial team, reporting directly and / or functionally assigned.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Align with the company's objectives to propose, develop, and achieve commercial targets, manage expenses, and meet financial goals within the annual budget for the Life Science market, ensuring continuous value creation for Caldic Ibérica.
2. Promote the development of the Health and Food markets in line with the company's global strategy, considering industry potential and trends both nationally and across group subsidiaries.
3. Supervise the responsibilities of the direct commercial team in Iberia to ensure strategy implementation, management, commercial processes, NOF tracking, and KPI establishment align with Caldic Ibérica's strategy.
4. Collaborate on establishing pricing and margin policies by market and industry with the Director of Marketing & Business Development and General Management, ensuring compliance by commercial teams.
5. Assist in improving financial and operational parameters, focusing on customer credit, working capital needs, inventory levels, and payment negotiations.
6. Lead, develop, and manage change within the commercial team, guiding them through new methodologies and market trends.
7. Implement and promote commercial plans, maintaining a strong relationship and communication with the market of responsibility.
8. Ensure effective use of internal processes and business tools by the commercial team for reporting and decision-making.
9. Interpret customer requirements and manage their expectations through effective communication and internal resource mobilization.
10. Stimulate and develop market demand for the company's products and solutions to promote growth and profitability.
11. Develop networking and alliances to enhance the company's brand.

* Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or similar
* MBA from ESADE / IESE
* Postgraduate in commercial and marketing
* Advanced English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
* Over 5 years experience as Commercial Director, Marketing, or Business Development Director in the chemical sector, with experience in specialties
