From the Construction Division of LHH Tarragona, we are partnering with a leading company in infrastructure, energy, and maintenance services, with involvement in highly demanding technical and operational projects at both national and international levels. This is a well-established organization focused on the integrated management of services, with a strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Position Purpose
To ensure the effective implementation, supervision, and compliance of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System within the assigned contract, guaranteeing worker safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to client‑established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the contract's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Plan.
- Coordinate preventive activities with the client, internal teams, and subcontractors.
- Prepare, review, and validate: Risk assessments, Safety plans, Safe work procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and propose corrective actions.
- Conduct on‑site safety inspections.
- Prepare reports and regular reporting documentation (including in English).
- Ensure compliance with current OHS legislation and regulations.
- Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the team.
Team Management
- Direct supervision of 2 OHS Technicians.
- Task planning and follow‑up.
- Team development and training.
- Performance evaluation.
Key Accountabilities
- Legal compliance in Occupational Health and Safety matters.
- Reduction of accident and incident rates.
- Achievement of client safety KPIs.
- Effective coordination with operations teams.
- Maintenance of up‑to‑date preventive and safety documentation.
Requirements
- University degree (preferred).
- Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering the three specialties.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar Occupational Health and Safety roles.
- Experience in industrial, construction, or service environments (preferred).
- Previous team management experience (preferred).
- Fluent English level (mandatory).
Working Conditions
- Full‑time position (40 hours per week).
- Availability to work additional hours according to service requirements.
- Availability to work 2 Saturdays per month.
- Dynamic environment with high operational demands.
Compensation Package
- Gross Annual Salary: €36,000–€38,000 + overtime pay.
- Additional compensation may apply based on availability, level of commitment, or specific service conditions, in accordance with the company's internal policies and applicable regulations.
