What you’ll achieve
* Lead the Plant to Excellence: Steer the full operation of your manufacturing unit—driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance to new heights.
* Drive Profitability & Strategic Impact: You will manage the unit's P&L, ensuring long‑term sustainability and making data‑driven decisions that strengthen Hero’s competitive edge.
* Empower and Elevate Your Team: You will lead Process Engineering, Production Shift Leaders, and Maintenance—guiding, coaching, and aligning them toward shared strategic goals.
* Champion Lean Culture: Embed Lean Manufacturing principles, spearheading continuous improvement and igniting a mindset of problem‑solving and efficiency across the plant.
* Transform Ways of Working: You will lead cultural change initiatives that boost engagement, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration at every level.
* Protect What Matters Most: Assure full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards—keeping our people safe and our products impeccable.
* Turn Insight into Action: You will monitor operational and financial KPIs closely, transforming insights into targeted corrective actions and improvement plans that elevate performance across the unit.
* Connect the Dots Across the Business: Partner closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and HR to create an agile, integrated operational ecosystem.
Who You Are
* Manufacturing Leader at Heart: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or similar and offer solid experience in manufacturing operations—ideally from the food industry—paired with strong people leadership and management skills.
* Bilingual Operator: You are fluent in Spanish and comfortable working in English at B2–C1 level.
* Lean & Continuous Improvement Champion: comfortable applying Lean principles in real operational environments and driving a culture. You know how to drive continuous improvement, eliminate waste, and shape efficient, high‑performing teams.
* Analytical Navigator : You use data to guide decisions and challenge the status que and are proactive, resilient, and always aiming for better.
* Strong Communicator & Influencer: builds strong relationships, facilitates collaboration, and communicates clearly across teams and levels. Creates alignment and inspires confidence even in complex operational contexts.
