European Financial Analysis Manager
Location: Bilbao, Spain (preferably).
As part of the Finance team you will work in close contact with Europe EVPs, sub-regional European Finance Directors, and Group Controlling teams. You will report directly to the Europe Finance VP, collaborating in the analysis of European performance, definition and follow‑up of action plans, and implementation of General projects in European scope.
Your Impact in This Role
- Act as a right hand for the Europe Finance VP.
- Develop a solid understanding of European business performance.
- Steer the preparation of the Europe long‑term plan.
- Translate Group planning and delivery requirements into the European organization (processes, planning, coordinating specific deliverables).
- Analyze and challenge European actuals, budgets and forecasts in connection with regional finance directors.
- Prepare monthly business reviews with regional financial directors for the destination of EVP Europe and VP Finance Europe.
- Benchmark regional financial performance, provide recommendations on action points, and follow up the results.
- Lead ad‑hoc projects.
What you bring to the table
- Master’s degree in Economics or related areas.
- 8‑10 years of experience in advisory services, consultancy, or a high‑standard corporate environment within an industrial/production setting.
- Structured personality and working style with strong influencing skills.
- Ability to bring new ideas and challenge people in their understanding of finance.
- Experience in financial analysis with the ability to summarize and present information.
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, OneStream, Power BI, SAP S/4HANA).
- Knowledge of Power BI report building – preferred.
- Experience working in a complex and changing environment.
- Strong understanding of operations, or ability to gain it rapidly.
- Good communication skills at different levels.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus.
