CORPORATE OPERATIONS & PATIENT SERVICES – MEDTECH SPECIALIST

Neuraxpharm is seeking a Corporate OPERATIONS & PATIENT SERVICES – MEDTECH SPECIALIST to strengthen our MedTech Business Unit, based in Barcelona (hybrid).
Your mission:
Reporting to the Corporate Head of Supply Chain and with a dotted line to the MedTech Business Unit, this role will own the end‑to‑end Operations and Patient Services operating model for Neuraxpharm’s medical device solutions.
You will act as the service owner of the patient-facing operating model, ensuring seamless patient onboarding, service delivery, partner governance, and commercial operational readiness.
You will work cross‑functionally with IT, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Commercial Excellence, Market Access, external service partners, and Supply Chain to ensure a robust, compliant, and patient‑centric service model.
1. Patient Support services
2. Define and document patient onboarding, activation, monitoring support, and off‑boarding workflows, aligned with the clinical and patient journey.
3. Define system interfaces with IT to ensure reliable data flows, patient activation/deactivation processes, and service continuity.
4. Ensure compliance by design with MDR and GDPR across all patient‑related operational processes and data flows.
5. Support the definition of the commercial operating model, including billing logic, invoicing triggers, and documentation flows, in coordination with Finance.
6. Set up the Patient Support Program, selecting and onboarding external service providers (e.g. technical call center / PSP).
7. Define service KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, and escalation models for outsourced Patient Support services.
8. Contribute to launch readiness, tender documentation, and market access submissions from an operational and patient services perspective.
2. Operations Management (Steady‑State)
9. Act as service owner for outsourced Patient Support operations, ensuring SLA compliance, quality, training, data protection, and continuous improvement.
10. Monitor service performance through defined KPIs (e.g. response times, resolution rates, quality scores, incident trends).
11. Manage incident and escalation processes, coordinating with IT, Supply Chain, QA/RA, and external partners when patient experience or service continuity is impacted.
12. Maintain and continuously improve operational SOPs, service playbooks, training materials, and escalation procedures.
13. Assemble and maintain operational annexes for tenders and submissions (SOP overviews, service models, data flow descriptions, security notes).
We Would Like You to Have:
14. Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or similar; APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma, PMP/PRINCE2 is an advantage.
15. 5+ years of experience in Operations/Supply within Medical Devices or regulated healthcare environments, including NPI and operational
management.
16. Experience designing order‑to‑cash and patient workflow processes with IT.
17. Understanding of MDR operational implications and GDPR for patient data.
18. Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems (SAP; Salesforce/Dynamics is a plus).
19. Strong analytical skills and experience creating dashboards (Excel/PowerBI)
20. Experience with Patient Support Programs or equivalent service models.
21. Excellent project management skills and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
22. Fluent English; ability to collaborate across geographies in multicultural settings.
23. Availability to travel up to ~10%.
