Experteer Overview As a Senior Scientist in R&D Data Science, you will build visual, data-driven products to illuminate R&D operations. You’ll partner with the J&J Innovative Medicine Data Science team to deliver dashboards and data insights that support clinical trials and study decisions. Your work translates complex data into clear narratives for scientists, clinicians, and leadership. This is a role that combines data visualization, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate drug development.Compensaciones / Beneficios - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for R&D operational metrics (e.G., study timelines, resource allocation, portfolio tracking, experiment throughput) - Create visual narratives that simplify complex datasets for diverse audiences including scientists, clinicians, and leadership teams - Implement visualization best practices focusing on clarity, usability, and storytelling - Work closely with R&D, Clinical Operations, and Program Management to identify key performance indicators - Analyze experimental workflows, preclinical and clinical study data, and project pipeline metrics to identify trends and bottlenecks - Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data pipelines are reliable, automated, and scalable - Partner with cross-functional teams (Research, Clinical, Regulatory, and Finance) to understand data needs and deliver tailored visual insights - Present analytical findings and visualization outputs to senior leadership for strategic planning - Build and deploy dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Spotfire (preferred in pharma R&D environments) - Use Python, R or SQL for data manipulation and integration - Work with data from LIMS, EDC systems, ELNs, and project management toolsResponsabilidades - Bachelor in Data Science - 6–8+ years in pharma/biotech R&D or related roles, with data management exposure (or 4+ years with advanced degree) - Proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Looker) - Strong SQL and data wrangling skills;
