We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and help us improve people's lives. As a member of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development (“APM”) will assist with the P3 bidding process from a developer / equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Coordinate and manage the P3 bidding processes from start to finish.
2. Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
3. Engage with developer and lender advisors.
4. Prepare RFQ submissions.
5. Develop bid management plans for specific projects.
6. Track project milestones and develop schedules with team members.
7. Coordinate bid deliverables related to finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
8. Negotiate contractual terms with the legal team for agreements such as DBFM and Design-Build Contracts.
9. Work with the finance team to secure project financing and coordinate with lenders' advisors.
10. Develop project costing in collaboration with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
11. Build and maintain relationships with partners, advisors, and clients.
12. Report on bid progress, project descriptions, and market assessments.
13. Support other development activities across finance, legal, and technical groups.
14. Travel as needed for meetings and project site visits.
Requirements and Competences :
1. Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
2. Minimum of 2 years experience in construction industry production.
3. Proficiency in Spanish and English.
4. Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and pay attention to detail.
5. Self-starter capable of working independently and in team environments.
6. Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks under pressure.
7. Understanding of P3 contractual frameworks.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
9. Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
10. Experience with successful P3 deals is a plus.
