Job Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Theater Category Manager (TCM) to manage Poly Video Business for APJ Markets. Looking for candidates with deep subject matter expertise, paired with an appetite for innovation and a commitment to driving results to join our team and make an impact in a dynamic environment. The position is responsible for enabling Market Quota and ensuring other Business metric achievement besides enabling Unit, Revenue and Margin growth both short- and long-term as key outcomes of successful Category Management activity. The role is hosted in Worldwide Category Management of Poly Video Category and liaises with a number of cross-functional teams and leaders (incl. Poly Category Leaders, Business Management CoE, Category Ops, Sales Operations, Digital & Transformation Organization, Markets, Business Units, etc.), and frequently interfaces with C-level executives across HP.
Need Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.
Responsibilities:
* Provide theatre-level thought leadership, deliver strategic product roadmap
* The Theater Category Manager will be setting the Goals for the Markets,
* Will be doing the in-quarter Business management. Enabling Markets to deliver on their nos.
* Pricing Management -Facilitate on Pricing and PFV besides price approvals
* Customizing, Drive Planning and Execution of 4P plans in "Focus Countries" with markets
* Driving the growth plans & initiatives with the Markets.
* Provide Business insights to the Markets.
* Drive operational efficiency projects.
* SIOP Support
* Constant communication and cross collaboration with the Markets.
* The TCM will act as an extended team member of the Market from central Category and facilitate all Market asks.
* Drives high-impact business plan development that enables the execution of business strategies (e.g., implementing new growth initiatives, reducing costs).
* Leads complex business planning initiatives, including global projects and cross-business unit levels.
* Directs and prioritizes large, highly complex business planning projects by monitoring deliverables and milestones, including developing contingencies to minimize risks and maximize success.
* Partners with business leaders on a wide range of business issues, including risk management, implementation tactics, and new opportunity development.
* Oversees budget management for multiple, complex plans and projects and is accountable for adhering to stated budgets.
* Oversees the development of project guidelines, plans, objectives, and deliverables.
* Influences high-level business leaders by presenting compelling analyses and recommendations for optimizing business performance.
* Orchestrates multiple large cross-functional teams and communications to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery.
* Provides innovative thought leadership and shapes the knowledge base across multiple businesses, functions, or regions.
* Oversees and manages the allocation of tools and resources to support team efforts.
* Actively contributes/leads the definition of the category business plan.
* Establishes relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.
* Product line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range, or a specific customer segment.
* Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, communication etc).
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
o Typically, 12+ years of professional experience in areas of Category / Product Management, / Business Management / Marketing Management / Sales Management / Business Planning & Strategy.
o Demonstrated Management/ Team leadership experience.

o Superior understanding in domain of Category Management /Product Management / Business management / Strategy & Planning / Sales Management
o Essential experience of Business planning / multidimensional profiles on Category Business development thru teams
o AV / Video Room conferencing industry knowledge.
o Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage business planning.
o Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.
o Negotiation skills and ability to frame the Video Room conferencing product value proposition to customers/partners.
o Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing. Finance, Services)
o Apply deep subject matter expertise and experience to short-circuit issues and deliver objectives under compressed timelines; driving force, engaged, motivated, and ready to make an impact, learn, foster excitement about Poly Video business development.
o Act as strategic sparring partner and provide thought leadership; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated aptitude for innovative thinking; understand and articulate synergies, complexities, and solutions.
o Crystallize long-term strategy and roll up sleeves during execution and tackling of obstacles; able to zoom in and out, work high-level strategy, and detail-oriented focused on delivering execution; operational mindset while keeping big picture in mind.
o Lead a complex portfolio of deliverables end-to-end; excellent project management and prioritization skills to execute on priorities through own and neighboring organizations
