**Job Description Summary**:As EMEA Inventory Manager you are driving Lean daily inventory management for the EMEA Region, executing on inventory problem solving initiatives and partnering with Operations and Finance teams to improve processes and define standard works. You will work strategically with the Operations, Commercial, Product Lines, and Regional teams to drive systematic and physical process changes in the way we manage inventory. You will lead projects, focused on improving inventory turns while reducing the overall EMEA defective distribution inventory balance.**Essential Responsibilities**:- Partners with EMEA functional teams to establish operating mechanisms and develop actions to reduce aged inventory which will improve inventory turns and eliminate obsolescence expense; - Partners with OTR, S&OP;, and Op Excellence leaders to identify aged systems stranded in the region; - Problem-solve reasons why inventory is aging and implement temporary and long-term countermeasures to prevent this from happening in the future; - Engage Commercial teams to promote sales, match aged systems with backlog, and reallocate inventory to align with regional demand; - Develop domain expertise in daily inventory management leveraging Oracle, iStock and tableau reporting; - Drive continuous improvement through Lean and implement best practices across General Materials teams; - Lead strategic Lean projects aligned with GE Healthcare Hoshin Kanri priorities; - Exhibit leadership andeffectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership; - Lead key Materials projects to improve the overall working capital position for GE Healthcare; - Drive continuous inventory turn improvement and implement best practices to achieve targets.**Qualifications/Requirements**- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, combined with considerable Supply Chain/ Inventory Management experience; - Proven ability to drive change initiatives through Lean in a matrix environment; - Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving sustainable change; - Demonstrated problem solving, troubleshooting, root-causing, analytical, financial, and planning skills; - Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization; - Proven Oracle knowledge and experience.- Lean manufacturing experience.Our total rewards are designed to unlock your ambition by giving you the boost and flexibility you need to turn your ideas into world-changing realities.
