SCIB Structured Finance Energy Analyst

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
SCIB GDF is looking for an Analyst, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.
CONTEXT AND DEFINITION
The Structured Finance Team is the front office origination, structuring and execution team covering sectors like Power, Renewables across Europe and Andean Region. The team identifies this role as a key position to unlock many new opportunities that we believe can be created, leveraging the experience, client relationships, and know-how built over the last years. The Project Finance Analyst must possess a strong desire to support growing finance and business development efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Help senior team members to originate, structure, and execute business opportunities.
* Assist with business origination activities and preparation of marketing and internal materials, focusing on content and visual quality.
* Build complex financial models from scratch, ensuring they accurately reflect transaction terms and due diligence inputs, running sensitivity analyses, and adjusting as deals evolve.
* Design new value-added solutions as the team progresses, providing more complex structures.
* Mentor and develop junior staff, especially on financial modelling workstreams, providing constructive feedback.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Experience
* At least 2 years in advisory and / or lending structured finance transactions.
* Knowledge of legal arrangements standard in non-recourse financing.
* International experience is highly valued.
Education
* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering.
