This contract is part of the project Metamaterial-based Midsoles for Sport and Running (PRODEM-CM-UC3M), funded by the Community of Madrid through the grant agreement for the encouragement and promotion of research and technology transfer at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
An Artificial Intelligence-based tool will be developed, specifically focused on the development of Neural Networks. This tool will analyze and optimize the geometry of athletic footwear midsoles based on Origami-inspired metamaterials (specifically the Miura-Ori unit cell).

Este contrato es parte del proyecto Entresuelas basadas en Metamateriales para Deporte y Running (PRODEM-CM-UC3M), financiado por la Comunidad de Madrid a través del convenio-subvención para el fomento y la promoción de la investigación y la transferencia de tecnología en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Se desarrollará una herramienta basada en Inteligencia Artificial, concretamente en el desarrollo de Redes Neuronales. Dicha herramienta analizará y optimizará la geometría de entresuelas de calzado deportivo basadas en metamateriales inspirados en Origami (concretamente en la celda unitaria de Miura-Ori).

- Knowledge of: Structural Mechanics / Solid Mechanics.
- Simulation and data processing: Advanced Matlab, knowledge of neural networks, and predictive systems.
