Senior MEP Engineer
Pineda Consultants Group is an international architecture, engineering and project management consultancy. We lead projects in the industrial, logistics and residential sectors, mainly in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany and Italy.
We are looking for an engineer with initiative and proactivity to join our MEP Engineering team in Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of MEP systems and will participate in the different phases of the project development, working closely with professionals from various disciplines in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Main responsibilities
- Design and calculate mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems, in coordination with all project disciplines.
- Prepare technical and economic feasibility studies for alternative engineering solutions.
- Develop basic and detailed engineering designs, manage construction activities and prepare final and as-built documentation.
- Supervise the commissioning and start-up phases of the building installations.
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers and manufacturers in BIM environments.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Participate in meetings and technical coordination reviews with architecture, engineering and construction teams.
- Contribute to consulting projects and initiatives focused on implementing sustainability strategies across Europe.
Profile and requirements
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in MEP installation projects.
- General knowledge of installation design criteria and MEP engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently.
- Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in Spanish and high level of English.
