We are currently seeking a Trainee for the European Shared Service Team based in Barcelona, who will collaborate with a team of professionals providing services to various affiliates across Europe.
Responsibilities include:
* Receiving, processing, and accurately validating supplier invoices
* Resolving invoice errors and discrepancies to ensure timely processing
* Maintaining excellent supplier relations by serving as the primary contact for departmental and supplier inquiries
* Assisting in the preparation of the payment cycle in accordance with internal control frameworks
Requirements for the role:
* Possibility to be a trainee (currently studying to establish a scholarship agreement) for 6 to 12 months
* High proficiency in English and Spanish
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, and purchasing processes
* Genuine team player, open to change, flexible, with the ability to learn different tasks and working methods
Additional information about the role:
* Option to work 3 days in the office (Barcelona) and 2 days from home
* Part-time position: 5 to 6 hours in the mornings with a flexible schedule
