Key Responsibilities
* Define and industrialize manufacturing processes in close collaboration with our contract manufacturers and internal stakeholders.
* Act as the technical link between R&D and production teams to ensure a seamless transition from product design to serial production, for both product updates and new product launches.
* Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes using Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process routings, PFMEA, control plans, QCPs.
* Work closely with the Quality team on problem-solving initiatives using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
* Provide on-site technical support to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality production.
* Lead or support cost-reduction initiatives through process standardization, optimization, and value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE).
* Train and support production personnel on new tools, processes, or product implementations.
Profile and Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
* 7–10 years of experience in a similar role in medium to high automation environments (e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics, or rail).
* Advanced English level (minimum C1). Will be assessed during the interview. Daily collaboration with international teams is essential.
* Strong knowledge of quality and process tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, control plans, etc.).
* Proven ability to design and optimize production line layouts (manual, semi-automated, or fully automated), from concept to implementation.
* Proficient in CAD and documentation tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
* Valued additional knowledge: EPLAN, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), MES platforms.
* Availability to occasionally travel to the manufacturing facilities.
