Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain. Work schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri). Environmental conditions: Office.
Responsibilities Drafts, reviews, negotiates and finalizes agreements with study sites in accordance with local/accepted processes.
Negotiate within approved parameters for investigator grants, contractual terms and conditions per company contractual considerations, client contractual considerations, and established site processes; follow escalation routes.
Ensure compliance with negotiation parameters, authority approvals, contractual processes and client expectations.
Ensure compliance of budgetary guidance, templates and processes.
Identify and assess legal, financial and operational risks and elevate to the appropriate level within the organization per established processes.
Provide recommendations and alternative resolutions to investigator contract negotiations through established escalation channels.
Coordinate with internal functional departments to align site startup activities with contractual activities and mutually agreed timelines.
Achieve target cycle times for site activations.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
2-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Understanding of contract law principles; ability to apply investigator grant negotiation basics; effective verbal and written English and local language skills; ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budgetary issues within defined parameters; strong attention to detail; analytical and decision-making capabilities; understanding of the pharmaceutical product development process and CRO involvement; ability to work independently or in a team; good organizational and time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and assess contractual risks; proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related systems; problem solving and teamwork skills.
