About the role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will connect Senior IT/Cyber/Information Security business end users, on a local and global scale, to discuss our vendor technologies or initiatives, and highlight how the Ignition Technology value proposition can support their business strategy. You will set up prospect meetings, add to mailing lists, building strong, on-going relationships and be the lead contact between IGN teams, our vendors, and the customer.

This is a high-volume lead generation role, supporting various campaigns depending on business need.

Your Responsibilities as the Business Development Representative
* Use all tools available and output necessary to achieve your campaign targets
* Understand the Ignition technology value preposition
* Develop and maintain knowledge around our vendor technologies
* Develop a strong understanding of your customer accounts and where they sit within the market
* Initiate the first step of the IG and vendor pipeline by identifying new sales opportunities
* Organise virtual meetings with our UK teams and the vendor
* Meet call out and KPI targets to ensure properly qualified leads are established for the Vendor and Ignition Technology
* Contact a minimum of 40 different/new decision makers on a daily basis, with the aim of booking a minimum of 5-7 meetings a month and ensure a minimum of 3-5 meetings attended
* Attend client meetings and be the point of contact for the customer for Ignition and the Vendor going forward:
o Diary management
o CRM Management
* Relationship Management
* Any ad hoc duties as defined by your line manager
The ideal Business Development Representative
* Previous telemarketing or lead generation experience would be advantageous, ideally within the enterprise software space
* Additional European language would be an advantage
* Must be based in Spain and a legal resident of Spain – fully remote
* Research skills – experience using LinkedIn and Sales Navigator would be beneficial
* An interest in software and cybersecurity with a thirst for knowledge and to develop knowledge and understanding of our industry.
