The opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the CAPEX, Maintenance, & Repair category for Bioiberica. You will ensure full utilization of our global buying power, category strategies, and contracts, while meeting all Business Unit specific requirements. You will work closely with the Global Category Manager CAPEX, Maintenance, & Repair, Head of Procurement, and other Global Category Managers to implement tools, standards, policies, and processes.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement Bioiberica and dotted line to the Global Category Manager CAPEX, Maintenance, & Repair, you will collaborate with other Global Category and Procurement Managers across five continents, leveraging each other's strengths to drive success.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement sourcing and contracting approaches aligned with stakeholder requirements.
* Develop category strategies in line with global standards, guidelines, processes, and policies tailored to Business Unit needs.
* Ensure security of supply cost-effectively, understanding suppliers, market dynamics, and drivers.
* Negotiate competitive conditions with suppliers and ensure all relevant Business Units utilize these conditions.
* Support local teams in executing global strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
* Create and implement a reporting structure to monitor category performance and compliance.
* Drive sourcing and contracting projects, ensuring implementation and adherence by Business Units.
* Manage material qualification processes for new sources, assessing risks and ensuring timely delivery.
* Maintain ongoing supplier relationship management, including expectation setting, performance monitoring, and fostering innovation and cost savings.
About you
* Degree in a relevant field, with postgraduate or professional qualifications like CIPS preferred.
* 4-5 years of experience in strategic category management within Capex, Maintenance, and Repairs, preferably across multiple countries.
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Experience in direct and indirect procurement, sourcing strategies, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and compliance management.
