Cable Pull‑In Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Cable Pull‑In Engineer to join our platform engineering team and play a key role in the installation of AC and DC/DMR power cable systems for a major offshore platform project.
Job Description
* Develop the cable pull‑in concept and define equipment needs.
* Coordinate with structural, layout, HVAC, material handling, and drafting teams.
* Act as the interface between the Client and cable contractors.
* Review mechanical properties and support the development of detailed pull‑in procedures for subsea and pre‑installed DC/DMR cables.
* Ensure contractor procedures align with concept‑phase assumptions and flag any structural impacts.
Requirements
* Experience in offshore cable installation or heavy mechanical engineering.
* Strong coordination and interface‑management skills.
* Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
