JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an EARLY STAGE RESEARCHER to support the Innovation in Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis research group.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
STUDIES
* Degree in a health-related discipline
* Master's degree in Medical Microbiology
EXPERIENCE
* Previous participation in national and/or international research consortiums
* Proven experience with microbiology issues (bacteria and viruses), preferably in molecular microbiology
* Experience in virus and bacterial culture, MIC determination, CRISPR-Cas, Western Blot, cell culture, flow cytometry, and fluorescent microscopy
* Experience with data repository management (e.g., REDCap)
* Proficiency in software such as R programming, BLAST, and Benchling
COMPETENCIES
* Excellent organizational skills
* Interest in working with animal models
* Good knowledge of English and French
* Availability to travel
* Flexible attitude with minimal supervision
