Job Description:
1. Hands on experience and knowledge with MS Office (MS Word and Excel)
2. Apply structures and styles to Word documents based on specifications
3. Implements accurate application of cross references, floats, and URLs.
4. Ensure consistency and accuracy of letter casing, special characters, styles and punctuation as per manuscript and project style guide
5. Reviews citations of figures (s/b in sequence), sections, and footnote to ensure that they are linked correctly.
6. Checks reference list to ensure that every reference entry is tagged according to its style and type.
7. Inserts citations of figures, tables, and equations in the article for reference of compositors.
8. Executes client and in-house validation tools to achieve quality compliance of the completed e-file before forwarding to the next process.
9. With demonstrated quality in being keen to details and ability in analysis and comprehension.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s/College Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Computer Science/Information Technology, Journalism, Science & Technology or equivalent.
2. 3-5 years experience in said position or as a “Document Analyst”.
3. Very knowledgeable in MS Office.
4. Willing to learn, flexible and service oriented.
5. Can easily understand instructions and work under minimum supervision.
6. Knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Quark XPress is an advantage.
