Roles and Responsibilities
1. Handle Casualty and financial lines claims in line with Starr Standards ensuring a correct assessment of each assigned case.
2. Effective management of Claims outcomes, including reporting to and signoff by Claims Manager where appropriate.
3. Provide support and claims data as requested by underwriters and/or claims managers to support them on generating new business and renewals.
4. Produce when required large loss forms for Senir Management review in line with Starr standards and our claims manual.
5. Attend client meetings with underwriters and/or claims manager in order to provide specific claims handling expertise or relationship management for the account.
6. Ensure a correct claim file management in the claims system according with company standards.
7. Provide training to new joiners or less experiences members if required.
8. Promote team working to support a strong team with a clear culture and identity
9. Report any suspicion of financial crime to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately.
10. Operate within the Company’s standards for Treating Customers Fairly
11. Manage any potential conflict of interest to avoid disrepute to the company´s integrity
12. Advise Compliance of any complains immediately
Experience
13. Experience as Claims Adjuster in an insurer, broker or Lawyer firms.
14. Knowledge on casualty lines and/or financial lines claims.
15. Knowledge of market wordings and clauses.
16. Experience on developing claims procedures manuals.
17. International experience desirable.

Qualifications
23. Degree in Law or Business Management.
