Overview
Our client, is an international company specialised in the development and commercialisation of oleochemical ingredients, with a strong focus on the food sector. The company continues to expand its presence in Iberia and is now seeking a Senior Technical Sales Manager to strengthen its position in the market.
Responsibilities
* Manage and develop an existing portfolio of approximately 70–80 clients in Spain and Portugal.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the food oleochemicals segment.
* Provide technical support and expert advice to clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
* Build strong relationships with international suppliers and act as a key point of contact for the Iberian region.
* Travel across Spain and Portugal (2–3 nights per month) to visit clients, trade fairs, and partners.
* Collaborate closely with the internal team (currently 4 people) to drive growth and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements
* Solid professional experience in technical sales within the oleochemical and/or food ingredients sector .
* Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
* Fluent in English (daily contact with international suppliers).
* Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field is a plus, though not essential.
* Willingness to travel occasionally within Iberia.
