Responsibilities and Requirements
Carry out assembly and maintenance of machinery, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance (fault reports and repairs), safety inspections, commissioning and handover of machines to customers. Provide technical and commercial advice to the customer during technical assistance performed.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance applying the checklists defined by KION for each machine model.
* Record fault reports and repairs, identify deficiencies and notify the customer, with direct repair or with prior approval of a budget.
* Supply spare parts. Identify the need for spare parts and manage replenishment.
* Perform safety tests on machines according to legal technical prescriptions.
* Assemble new machines, commission them and deliver to the customer.
* Prepare repair and spare parts estimates according to organizational guidelines.
Customer Support
* Advise the customer on machine and service aspects: technical issues, spare parts, recommended and required repairs, etc.
* Proactively identify opportunities to sell services, spare parts, new machines and improvements to existing machines, informing the customer and notifying your Technical Advisor and / or Area Manager.
Technical Assistance Reports
* Prepare assistance reports (BM) following organizational guidelines for daily transmission, customer sign‑off, type of assistance coding, spare parts used, etc.
Equipment Management
* Use and take care of the equipment and materials assigned (work vehicle, laptop, phone, tools, and spare parts inventory).
Training, Knowledge & Experience
* Technical training at middle or higher level (Mechatronics or similar).
* At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance / repair technician for forklift trucks (or similar sector).
* Knowledge of MS Office.
