We’re looking for a Finance Consolidation & Reporting Analyst to join our client's vibrant finance team in Madrid. In this role, you’ll prepare financial reports and analyses that help steer strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate with various departments to gather data, assess financial performance, and spot opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
•Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including detailed notes and supplementary information.
•Intercompany Accounting: Manage the consolidation process for corporate legal entities, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations and addressing any errors.
•Financial Analysis and Reporting: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports, conduct monthly reviews to explain financial balances and variances to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Required Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
•Required Experience: Experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in integrating new entities into financial reporting.
•Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance, and fluency in English.
