Head of paid media (mijas)

Remoto: Teletrabajo

Your mission

You will own the strategy, execution and optimisation of our paid media across two distinct demand engines: international lead generation for our premium residential and hospitality developments, and lead generation for our Costa del Sol estate agency. Each has its own buyer, funnel and economics, and you will run both. Your work connects integral buyers and investors with our branded residences and resort developments, while keeping a steady pipeline of qualified enquiries flowing to the estate agency.

What you will own
* Paid media strategy and delivery across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and social (Meta, LinkedIn), for both the development portfolio and the estate agency.
* Budgets and scale: annual paid media budgets averaging 300k+, scaling with performance, across multiple markets, languages and brands.
* Copy, end to end: research, write, test and iterate ad messaging yourself. Strong writing is core to the role, not a nice-to-have.
* Creative direction: brief design requirements into our designers, who own visual consistency and look and feel, and take responsibility for testing that every creative renders and performs correctly across platforms and placements.
* Landing pages and full-funnel performance: build, test and explain landing pages so the journey from click to enquiry is measured and improved end to end.
* Conversion tracking, done properly: spec the GTM and server-side tagging requirements, work with the tech and dev team to deliver them, and feed conversions back to the platforms (for example Meta CAPI) so campaigns optimise for real conversions, not page views.
* Analysis and targeting: lead keyword, audience and market analysis to identify growth opportunities across markets.
* KPI definition and continuous improvement: define, monitor and improve core KPIs (CPA, CTR, CVR, ROAS), always optimising to downstream quality (tours, reservations, sales), not surface metrics.
* Structured testing: run disciplined A/B testing across ads, landing pages and bidding strategies.
* Executive reporting: produce board-level reporting and recommendations, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
* Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with sales teams and telemarketing managers across markets, using lead-quality feedback to refine campaign performance.
What will help you succeed here
* 3+ years managing paid media with a strong, demonstrable performance focus. The scope and impact of what you have owned matters more than the number of years.
* A proven track record of ROI-driven decision-making.
* Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to research, write and test messaging that converts.
* Hands‑on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
* Strong analytical capability within GA4 and Google Tag Manager, including experience specifying server‑side tagging and conversion feedback implementations.
* Landing page expertise, including the ability to build, critique and optimise pages for conversion.
* The ability to work autonomously while influencing wider marketing strategy.
* Experience in real estate, luxury, tourism or other high‑consideration, long‑cycle industries is highly desirable.
* Multi‑market and multi‑language campaign experience is advantageous.
* Spanish is preferred but not essential. We operate in English across our international markets.
