About the Role: Ready to make your mark on an AI-powered future? Groupon is rebuilding as an AI-First company—shipping production features that actually work, not just demos. Join our high-autonomy, high-impact team, delivering meaningful AI/ML solutions on a global scale.
What You’ll Do:
* Design, build, and deploy production-ready ML & genAI features—end to end
* Coordinate across technical and business teams to keep projects moving and stakeholders informed
* Own, maintain, and evolve our codebase (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) for both backend and user-facing products
* Ensure robust infrastructure, monitoring, and delivery pipelines (MLflow, Airflow, Kubernetes, cloud)
* Proactively report, communicate, and solve blockers—your work will be seen across the business
What You’ll Bring:
* 5+ years hands-on experience in Machine Learning/AI (with a strong delivery record for production systems)
* Pro-level Python + JavaScript/TypeScript coding skills
* Solid experience with ML/AI frameworks (MLflow, Airflow) and DevOps/infra tools (Kubernetes, cloud)
* End-to-end mindset: From requirements & coding to deployment & ongoing support
* Self-motivation, adaptability, and a love for fast-paced, ever-evolving environments
* Strong communication skills and proven history of cross-team/project coordination
Nice to Have:
* Experience in scale-up/startup, e-commerce or B2C platforms
* Background in generative AI or automation tools
* Entrepreneurial drive or experience working in ambiguous, high-pressure situations
