ATLANTIS is looking for an experienced Image Processing profile for the design, development, and tests of a calibration and validation (CalVal) plan of multispectral optical and infrared missions.
The specific tasks will include:
• Derivation and flow down of top-level requirements into specific image processing requirements
• Design and development of end-to-end quality process of satellite mission, including the products and processing scenario definition, the calibration pipeline reaching analysis ready data.
• Design and development of a validation pipeline with manual and automated quality control tests to verify optical performance, radiometric and geolocation accuracy.
Skills and experience
• Knowledge of Python and image processing libraries such as Numpy, Scipy and Scikit-Image
• Master or PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or related to image processing
• Experience in with EO data analysis, CalVal and data management
• Experience in development and maintenance of ground infrastructure and/or software systems
• Experience in remote sensing retrieval techniques
• Problem-solving approach
• Team spirit, versatility and creativity
• English B2 level
Preferred
• Experience using control version repositories (git)
• Experience with RadCalNet
• Experience with ESA CalVal or EDAP projects
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Knowledge in computer vision or opencv
• Spanish B2 level
• English negotiation level.
