In this Engineering Project Manager role within Ferrovial Digital Infrastructure, you oversee the technical management of a Data Center project from design through construction and handover. You coordinate engineering disciplines, ensure regulatory and standards compliance, and manage budgets and schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position blends hands-on construction oversight with strategic project governance to deliver a high-impact data center facility. You will engage with the Projects Development team to align with business goals and sustainable, efficient infrastructure.

• Coordinate all technical activities of the project, including planning, feasibility, evaluation and supervision for compliance with codes and phases.
• Establish and maintain project management methodologies, tools and templates.
• Provide status reporting to the Head of Projects Development with progress, costs, risks, and changes.
• Prepare executive reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Lead multidisciplinary on-site coordination (engineering, GC, contractors, IT, operations, admin).
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g. Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ISO 27001).
• Coordinate with the Digital Infrastructure project development team and internal/external resources.
• Ensure resources availability and allocation through design and construction phases.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget; foster a collaborative environment.
• Evaluate design proposals for feasibility, cost, and maintenance implications.
• Oversee purchase of OFCI equipment and select manufacturers for purchasing agreements.
• Monitor energy performance and prepare management reports.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with GC and related companies to meet deadlines.
• Ensure construction follows land use, sustainability due diligence and environmental compliance.
Responsabilidades
• 5 years of experience in construction projects, especially leadership roles in data centre projects in the construction phase.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Technical and cost management and planning skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
