Duties And Responsibilities
Perform literature reviews for a community pharmacy-related projectDesign the study protocol and questionnairesPrepare human ethics applications for research projectsDesign the logistics of patient recruitment in the studyCommunicate with community partners for recruitment and logistics supportConduct patient recruitment and data collection at the participating sitesArrange and facilitate survey completion with participantsConduct qualitative and quantitative data analysisPrepare reports and manuscriptsAssist in the supervision of junior research staff if neededPerform other duties as assigned
Requirements
A master’s degree with at least 1 year’s post-qualification experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience since the award of the first degree. Degree holder in healthcare-related or social sciences disciplines, including but not limited to health economics, public health, pharmacy, nursing, biostatistics, psychology, social work, and social administration or a related field, is also welcome. Candidates with more experience or qualifications will be offered the position of Senior Research Assistant.Experience in conducting willingness to pay (WTP) and ability to pay (ATP) study or Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE) is an advantage.Experience in conducting mixed methods studies (e.G. patient recruitment, conducting individual and/or focus group interviews, designing questionnaires for survey studies, survey validation, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative analyses using various tools, e.G. NVivo, Qualtrics, R, STATA), quality of life research, or economic evaluations will be a must.A relevant background in liaising research projects with various stakeholders (e.G. NGOs, pharmacies, and/ external parties outside universities) or IRB preparations will be advantageous.A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently and in a team.Excellent coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.A good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese).Attentive to details.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
