Technical Sales Manager
to lead operations in
Southern Europe
for a leading European engineering group specializing in innovative maritime solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical background and established relationships within the shipbuilding and marine sectors, who are ready to manage and grow the business in this strategically important region.

Role Overview
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for
leading business development in Southern Europe
and managing high-level relationships with key stakeholders across the marine and shipbuilding sectors. This position requires a strategic and technical approach to sales, leveraging your network, regional expertise, and industry knowledge to identify and secure business opportunities, while driving the company’s growth in this strategically important region.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with
shipowners, shipyards, and system integrators
Identify, evaluate, and convert business opportunities in European and international markets
Serve as a technical advisor, translating complex engineering solutions to client requirements
Lead the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation
Collaborate closely with internal engineering and project teams
Represent the company at industry events, technical conferences, and client meetings
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
Technical background in
electrical engineering, automation, or related disciplines
Proven experience in
technical sales within the marine or shipbuilding industry
Established professional network among
shipowners, shipyards, or integrators
Ability to understand and communicate complex engineering solutions effectively
Proficient in English
Desirable
Exposure to innovative or sustainable technologies in maritime
International sales experience and cross-cultural collaboration
Professional Attributes
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen
Self-motivated, autonomous, and results-oriented
Credible and influential when engaging with senior technical stakeholders
Location & Travel
Remote role (based in Spain)
Frequent international travel required
