Job Title: Vendor Manager (Madrid)

The Vendor Manager is a passionate advocate for customers and vendors, combining strong analytical skills and project management abilities. The role requires attention to detail, effective prioritization, multi-tasking, and a proven record of driving vendor and category growth. The Vendor Manager is an effective leader and communicator, working with key partners, vendors, internal colleagues, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for retail, flexibility, and commitment.
Responsibilities include:
1. Owning assigned categories, understanding internal and external factors impacting the business, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting, while driving projects and promotions to meet objectives.
2. Monitoring industry trends, seasonality, and competitor activities.
3. Maximizing Amazon's growth, profitability, and expansion opportunities.
4. Understanding customer needs to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and setting joint business priorities.
6. Coordinating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with partners.
7. Conducting financial analyses to meet revenue and profitability targets.
Basic Qualifications:
* 4-6 years of experience in retail, operations, or business management/consulting with a results track record.
* 4-6 years of experience in negotiations, influencing, and vendor management.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Advanced Excel or Business Intelligence skills.
* Strong communication skills (speaking, writing, presenting, negotiating).
* Ability to operate tactically and strategically.
* Willingness to 'roll up sleeves' and get things done.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or Management.
* Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
* E-commerce experience.
* Knowledge of databases and SQL.
* Experience working with remote, cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work in diverse teams.
* Interest or background in the Fashion Industry.
