I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices and initiatives are implemented, embraced, adopted within the resort.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs Night IRD Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: Review bookings and plan for the smooth department operation during shift. Review daily arrivals and departures to ensure proper handling of Special Guests, VIP Guests and Groups. Implement and maintain guest recognition program, taking special care with food likes and dislikes and allergies or special dietary requests. Assist in scheduling, training and providing feedback to In Room Dining Host. Handle guest feedbacks, inquiries, and comments. Log them and initiate appropriate action and follow up. Be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests and the emergency services; be accountable for guests safety and comfort. Assist in the control of the outlet operational budget, ensuring that all costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability. Supervise the In shift Host team. Ensure that youre working area is of exemplary clean nature. Fully understand the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets. Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in department´s standards. Using the guests name whenever possible and always confirm order. Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list, ensure designated amounts are available, and update menus or wine lists as changes occur. Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact supervisor. Attend regular meeting and briefing to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments. Ensure the prompt and efficient service required by standards. Ensure all mis-en-place for In Room Dining service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service. Have good knowledge of all F&B outlets opening hours, all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities. Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills. Report any maintenances faults following the required steps. Knowledge on menu prices and suggesting upselling when necessary. Ascertains guest satisfaction and ensure that all guest billing procedures are handled correctly. Maintain and update of guest history files and disbursement of relevant information ensuring guest requests and preferences and/or food allergies are implemented whenever possible. Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time. Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition. Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors. Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. Assist the IRD Supervisor in any additional tasks. QualificationsTo execute the position of Night IRD Supervisor, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school and more than two years experience in a similar hotel operational role.I am a personally involved, visible with excellent organizational skills, capable of providing focused direction and continuing to establish the propertys prominent position within the market.In terms of frontline F&B management, I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer.Technical skills include Advanced MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including MICROS/point of sell platforms. I have knowledge of hotel/resort and policies on discounts/food promotion etc. I am familiar with Food and beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English with some knowledge of the local language and customs. I have knowledge of hotel/resort and policies regarding reservations, discounts and detailed procedures in F&B bookings.I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities and services.
