Contract Manager/Claim Consultant – Construction Sector

Responsibilities
* Manage contracts throughout project lifecycles, identifying and mitigating risks.
* Provide advice to clients on contractual obligations, supporting claim preparation and dispute resolution.
* Prepare, review, and negotiate variations, claims, and commercial agreements while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or master's in Civil Engineering.
* 8 to 10 years of experience as a Contract Manager or Claim Consultant in the construction industry.
* Proficient in English at a professional level.
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts, contract law, and industry-specific regulations.
* Expertise in claim management, including analysis, preparation, and negotiation.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and assess complex contractual issues.
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
* Ideally holds MRICS, CIOB, or CIArb qualification.
* Open to relocation to East Africa.
