Job Overview
We are looking for Expert Data Engineers to join our team and take part in the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable data solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with AWS data services and a solid understanding of modern data architectures, such as data lakes, lake houses, and data mesh, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, secure, and compliant data platforms.
Responsibilities
* Trabajo en equipo bajo metodologías ágiles (Scrum, Kanban) y manejo de herramientas colaborativas como Jira.
* Evaluación de requisitos funcionales y capacidad para compararlos con las funcionalidades del producto para garantizar la alineación con las necesidades del cliente.
* Autonomía para gestionar tareas y responsabilidades de manera independiente, manteniendo un alto nivel de calidad en el desarrollo y la implementación de soluciones.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of working experience as Data Engineer and 3 years of experience with Scala.
* Strong technical expertise in Spark/Scala, Python, SQL.
* Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS, including S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, Lambda.
* Solid experience in ETL design and data modeling.
* Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to anticipate edge cases and scalability challenges.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail.
* Remote work. Must reside in Spain.
* High level English.
