**Accounts payable controller - with direct reporting line to CFO for global business**

IDP (International Direct Packaging), one of the leading global packaging companies (established in 1992 with HQ in the UK), is looking for an accounts payable controller for our office in Vilanova, Spain.
Our Spain based office is essential for taking care of our clients within the EU as well as globally. It is required for you to come to the office in Vilanova, but when you are up to speed a combination with remote work will be possible.
**Who are we and what do we do?**
At IDP we design packaging, manufacture packaging, and provide global logistics with a local presence all under one roof. We support brands with complete supply chain optimization because packaging is more than your logo on a box. Our client portfolio includes a large range of well-known luxury brands (e.g. GANT, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and many others) that we service worldwide.
Our factories are in-house, which keeps quality high and consistent.
Besides the subsidiary in Ireland, we have subsidiaries in the USA, Japan and Korea. The subsidiary in the USA handles the North American market and is also the base of our Global Operations Department. In general, we operate in a very decentralized manner, with our Operations and Marketing department based in the USA and the CEO and CFO based in Spain, and Finance in Ireland.
**Who are you?**
- has a broad knowledge within booking of supplier invoices and PO’s
- has experience from a similar position, preferably within a general company
- has knowledge within accounting
- has knowledge of and experience with the ERP system “NetSuite” (not a requirement)
- can prioritize your tasks in busy periods
- gets things done - in the right quality at the right time
In addition, you demonstrate commercial acumen, common sense, and the ability to deal effectively with clients and colleagues in different parts of the world.
We expect you to take responsibility for your own tasks, meet all deadlines, and work independently.
You will become part of our Finance team consisting of 4 colleagues, who are based in the UK, Ireland, and Spain. You will also have a lot of work to do with our Operations Department in the USA. We have a flat and very informal organizational structure and strive for an open and direct working environment.
