We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer (CSE) to develop design proposals, specifications, and drawings to evaluate feasibility, costs, and maintenance requirements. The candidate will identify project requirements, provide design solutions, and ensure customer interests are protected. The role involves working with DCIM, SCADA, PLCs, structured cabling, microcontrollers, and software programming (primarily describing functionality and working modes). The engineer will lead hardware and software designs, driving digitization and connectivity for prefab solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate in programming projects with customers to understand and document requirements, influencing solutions.
2. Understand local codes and ordinances related to projects.
3. Revise control system designs during tendering, guide solution development, and prepare design documents supporting proposals.
4. Provide engineering information and support to teams and clients.
5. Prepare templates for control/monitoring system quotations.
6. Support R&D projects within Schneider Electric's portfolio and contribute to new base design projects.
7. Design network topologies, wiring schematics, and programs using appropriate tools.
8. Support other engineering teams, factory, commissioning, and site activities.
9. Train and guide technicians to complete projects.
Secondary Functions
* Travel to customer sites to resolve technical issues.
* Participate in safety meetings related to offers.
Qualifications & Skills
* Attend workshops and review publications to maintain technical knowledge.
* Prepare and deliver training as a Subject Matter Expert.
* Ability to work in international environments, team collaboration, and social media/networking skills.
* Experience with InfraStruxure software applications.
Education & Experience
* Degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering preferred.
* Experience in design and application engineering, especially for Data Centers.
* Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
* Understanding of electromechanical components.
* Ability to work with Microsoft tools, REVIT, CAD.
