PAlbastar is looking for an bOCC DUTY Manager: /b /ppbr/ppbMISION /b /ppbr/ppReporting to the OCC Manger the Duty Manager will perform oversight of daily flight planning, flight watch and flight support. ACMI sales and coordination along with communication with clients and operational disruption management of a fleet of 5 aircraft operating in Europe, North Africa, and Eastern Europe. /p p bRequirements: /b /ppbr/ppFlight dispatcher experience required. /ppExperience as a Duty manager is preferred but not essential /ppThe successful candidate ideally has a background in OCC/Dispatch/Flight watch in a passenger airline or business operator. Good knowledge of English is a must; Spanish is a plus. /ppEuropean passport. /ppOCC awareness and knowledge is required. /ppDisruption management skills /ppSkills and acknowledge: /pp Excellent problem solving skills /ppAdvanced Computer skills and use of IT products in a flight operations environment /ppKnowledge of airlines OCC roles and responsibilities. /ppAirport Air traffic restrictions and knowledge /ppEurocontrol regulation and awareness knowledge. /ppKnowledge of handling agents airport facilities. /ppFlight crew FTL awareness preferred /ppMaintenance awareness with MEL/CDL knowledge /ppAircraft Scheduling and Ground operations. /ppKnowledge of Jeppesen flight Dispatch/Foreflight planning system will be a bonus. /ppKnowledge of EASA regulations. /ppTo work 24/7 shifts including weekends holidays /ppbr/pp bResponsibilities: /b /ppbr/pp• To oversee each shift to increase performance and monitor costs where possible /pp• To oversee the flight planning and production for the live operation /pp• Reduce disruption within the flight schedule when operational deviations occur. /pp• To communicate within all areas of the business when disruption happens. /pp• Complete daily checks to ensure the safe and reliable dispatch of the aircraft /pp• Work together with safety and compliance to ensure the safest operation possible /pp• Complete tasks assigned by OCC Manager /pp• Assist other areas of OCC when staff shortage occurs. /ppbr/ppAt Albastar, we strongly believe in the value of diversity.
