At Qaracter, we are looking for an AI Software Architect to design and lead the development of intelligent, scalable software solutions, integrating AI capabilities into real-world applications. This role is focused on software engineering, architecture, and system design, rather than purely data or modeling.
You will play a key role in building AI-powered products, ensuring clean architecture, performance, and maintainability.
What You'll Do
* Design and lead the architecture of AI-powered software applications
* Define system architecture, components, and integrations for scalable solutions
* Integrate AI/ML/LLM capabilities into backend systems and APIs
* Lead development best practices (clean code, design patterns, testing, scalability)
* Collaborate with engineering teams to build production-ready applications
* Define and implement microservices architectures and REST APIs
* Ensure performance, security, and maintainability of applications
* Guide teams on software engineering standards in AI-based systems
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture (Java, Python, or similar)
* Strong experience in backend development, APIs, and microservices
* Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (LLMs, NLP, APIs, AI services)
* Solid understanding of software architecture patterns and system design
* Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
* Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical decisions
* English level B2+/C1
Nice to Have
* Experience building AI-driven products or platforms
* Knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot, FastAPI, or Node.Js
* Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging systems)
* Exposure to GenAI ecosystems (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.)
* Background in regulated environments (banking, insurance, etc.)
