In this role, you drive strategic payments partnerships to unlock revenue, product innovation, and competitive advantage. You’ll connect market opportunities with internal roadmaps, shaping customer experience and Prime membership growth. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful payment initiatives at scale, leveraging your deep payments expertise and stakeholder management. • Act as the lead for all schemes and manage a complex joint roadmap of strategic, commercial, and technical initiatives
• Identify and prioritize new product opportunities by leveraging scheme and partner capabilities, driving from ideation to delivery
• Define strategies to optimize merchant costs and unlock growth partnerships that boost Prime membership
• Ensure compliance and market readiness by tracking scheme mandates, PSD2, 3DS, and regulatory changes
• Develop a long-term payments strategy, identifying new markets and revenue opportunities
• Lead business cases and financial models for high-priority initiatives tied to Flights, Hotels, and Prime
• Manage end-to-end PSP relationships, moving toward strategic partnerships with smart routing and feature integration
• Negotiate commercial terms to optimize processing costs and streamline authorization/reconciliation
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Risk
• Promote AI adoption to improve efficiency in business case modeling, data summarization, and strategic communication
Responsabilidades
• 8+ years in strategic payments, banking, or fintech, preferably in high-volume ecommerce/OTA
• Proven track record negotiating complex relationships with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard) or top-tier xpzdshu PSPs/banks
• Deep understanding of global payments ecosystem: issuing/acquiring, rules, fraud, PSD2/SCA
• Excellent executive presence and negotiation skills with stakeholders across internal and external parties
• Strong analytical skills and ability to defend data-driven multi-million euro business cases
• Experience with AI tools and willingness to leverage AI for productivity and analysis (preferred)
