Headquarter of important multinational Group is looking for a Senior Financial Controller based in Madrid
The ideal candidate will have around 5-8 years of professional experience in Finance, with at least 2-3 years as a Finance & Business Controller in a major multinational group. Previous experience in Big 4 (audit or Transaction Services) is a plus. We will not consider candidates with only audit experience in Big 4 without final client exposure, but those with 2-3 years in Transaction Services will be considered, even without final client experience. Experience managing multiple countries or business units is advantageous. Broad experience in analyzing financial statements is required. Very high English proficiency is essential. SAP knowledge is a plus. The workplace is hybrid.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the preparation of group forecasts and annual budgets.
* Analyze deviations vs. budget, previous month, and last year for P&L, Working Capital, Cash Flow, and Net Financial Debt.
* Ensure financial reporting compliance with Group policies and standards (Spanish GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
* Coordinate and communicate regularly with local Finance Teams across different countries.
* Deliver high-quality financial reporting, value-added analysis, and decision support to optimize business efficiency.
* Develop and enhance financial dashboards, reducing complexity and providing insights to stakeholders.
* Lead the development and implementation of financial reporting systems, driving continuous improvements and user training.
Additional Information
* Salary: approximately €50,000 - €55,000 fixed plus bonus.
