Software Engineer (Automation & SEO Engineering) | Full Remote (CET)

We are looking for a
Software Engineer
with strong experience in
automation, web platforms, and technical SEO
to help build scalable solutions that improve website performance, search visibility, and operational efficiency.
This role sits at the intersection of
software engineering, platform automation, and SEO engineering
, working closely with product, content, and SEO teams.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for building automation workflows, internal platforms, and technical solutions that enhance SEO performance and web operations. The role combines backend development, automation engineering, and technical SEO implementation.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation workflows for web operations
Build internal tools and services to standardize processes
Develop scripts, pipelines, and services integrating APIs, crawlers, and analytics platforms
Enable self-service capabilities through internal tooling
Translate SEO best practices into scalable technical solutions
Build systems to monitor
Core Web Vitals, indexing, and search visibility
Integrate platforms such as Google Search Console and analytics tools
Collaborate with SEO and content teams to implement improvements
Web Performance & Observability
Implement automated checks for performance, accessibility, and SEO compliance
Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards and alerts
Improve page speed, rendering strategies, and UX performance metrics
Work with engineers, SEO specialists, product teams, and content stakeholders
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions
Contribute to tooling, documentation, and engineering standards
Required Experience
Must have
5+ years of experience
in Software Engineering
Experience working with
web platforms or large-scale websites
Proven experience building
automation tools, scripts, or internal platforms
Hands-on experience with
technical SEO in production environments
Technical Skills
Experience building
APIs, backend services, and automation pipelines
Experience with web crawling, scraping, or data extraction
Strong knowledge of technical SEO concepts:
Crawling and indexing
Metadata and canonical tags
Sitemaps and robots.Txt
Experience with tools such as:
Google Search Console
Google Analytics
Web Performance
Understanding of
Core Web Vitals
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
Familiarity with rendering strategies ( SSR, CSR, Edge rendering
)
Experience with cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure, or GCP
)
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
Monitoring and logging tools
Nice to Have
Experience building SEO auditing platforms or recommendation engines
Experience with headless architectures
Experience with large multi-site environments
Experience with data pipelines or ML/AI integrations for insights generation

- We are seeking Expert Data Engineers to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust data solutions. The ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, and Lambda, and a strong understanding of modern data architectures including data lakes, lake houses, and data mesh. Job Responsibilities / Role
- Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and data platforms using AWS services
- Implement and maintain data lake, lake house, or data mesh architectures
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver business solutions
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and records management policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve data related issues, supporting change management processes
- Demonstrate ownership of projects from inception to delivery
Mandatory Skills
- In depth understanding of when to use a range of tools as opposed to limited practical experience in a specific set of tools:
- Experience level to be a minimum of 3+ working years in cloud
- Spark/Scala
- Python
- SQL
- AWS expertise in services such as S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, and Lambda
- ETL design and data modeling
- Analytical thinking: ability to anticipate all edge cases and scalable issues in the future
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.G., GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Apache Iceberg or similar table formats
- Exposure to data quality frameworks (e.G., Great Expectations, Deequ)
- Knowledge of Bash and HCL would be an added advantage
- Proactive and self motivated

- University degree in technology, preferably in computer science

This role requires a strong understanding of modern backend development and event‑driven architecture.
