About the role
We are seeking a talented, passionate, and customer-focused Senior Leadership Development Trainer (a.k.a. facilitator) to join our Group HR Talent & Development Team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformational growth story, and a culture that is intent on investing in leadership development and organisational effectiveness.
You will collaborate across multiple country teams and Group functions with opportunities to draw people and team development insights. With your operational excellence, you will shape leadership development academies and tools to accelerate business growth. As a Leadership Trainer, you will own making all solutions relevant to our audiences, driving measurable impact on engagement and business performance.

Overall Responsibilities
Your will support all our leaders and colleagues in accelerating their growth and development by (1) thoroughly deploying and continuously improving our internal leadership development offering, (2) diagnosing what’s needed to build new, relevant leadership development solutions, and (3) transforming learning into actionable plans.
How you'll make a difference:
* Contribute to achieving our strategic business objectives through diagnosing and addressing systemic and talent gaps in our organisational capability.
* Foster a learning culture where colleagues feel equipped, encouraged and empowered to pursue personal and professional growth opportunities.
* Prepare leaders to engage and grow their teams through relevant, inspiring and practical leadership development or team effectiveness workshops.
* Improve the quality and output of our succession planning and talent management processes through the prescription and delivery of developmental programmes or team effectiveness interventions.
* Contribute to developing learning pathways to accelerate learning at level, from early career to new manager to executive leader.
Specific responsibilities, to deliver the above, will focus on supporting talent and team development with ownership and accountability, and will include:
* Understand, appropriate our leadership model and culture, to be able to make it come to life through leadership development workshops and team effectiveness interventions at all levels of seniority, and including: Identify, integrate and share internal and external best practices; Design learning content to drive appropriation of our leadership model, competencies and behaviours by all our audiences.
* Design team effectiveness interventions that promote our desired leadership culture and lead to tangible progress and results for said teams.
* Build trust with all clients and participants, and build relationships across the organisation that lead to actionable insights and; understand our business context to make our learning solutions always more applicable and more relevant.
* Develop and deliver engaging talent development / leadership academy programmes and team effectiveness interventions through a combination of academic curricula and hands-on learning experiences, while also supporting the organisation of externally-led sessions or other internally-led trainings. Specific audiences such as women leaders, high potentials/ top talents, successors to executive roles and executive leaders (this list is not exhaustive) may require specific programmes.
* Follow-up with audiences and cohorts post programmes to ensure learning implementation, propose additional or revisited content to anchor learning and use participants’ feedback to learn new needs to feed future programmes.
* Create “managers’ guides” or toolkits and continuously improve them based on users’ feedback – and make them available.
* Measure impact: work with the Talent team to establish and track leading and lagging KPI's to monitor and measure the impact of our L&D strategy and our Leadership Development activities on performance, manager eNPS, people attrition, promotion, organisational effectiveness, sustainable engagement and other business objectives.
* Support Head of Leadership Development in deploying other leadership development tools such as 360 feedback, coaching, mentoring programmes across the company with focus on our leaders, when needed.
* Potentially support our Chief Human Resources, Communications and ESG Officer on other relevant talent development activities.
Location
The position is full-time and based preferably in Madrid, Spain, although applicants in other Verisure Countries locations will be considered. Some international travel will be required. Hybid work model (2-3 days remote per week + 2 weeks/year from anywhere).
Candidate profile
Experiences & Qualifications
* A bachelor’s degree in business, psychology or similar is a plus.
* Deep knowledge of adult learning theory with at least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Management teams in a transformative global environment-
* Relevant experience in leadership and team effectiveness facilitation either as independent or employed consultant, or within a corporate role; coupled with relevant experience as a people manager (min. 5 years).
* Strong written and oral communication capabilities for creating impactful tools (e.g. e-learning scenarios, PowerPoint) and presenting them just as impactfully.
* Strategic and hands-on: capable of understanding the big picture whilst also adding value through structure and attention to detail.
* Experience of and appetite for working in international multi-cultural environments, with diverse and, at times, remote teams.
* Proven ability to deliver scalable learning and development programmes in a global organisation that measurably facilitates the achievement of business objectives.
* Strong influencing capability and coaching acumen - able to skilfully influence leaders at all levels, peers, internal and external partners to promote ideas in ways that build psychological safety, mutual trust and promote collaboration.
* Self-confident yet humble individual with high emotional intelligence and active listening skills, able to interact at all levels, and manage interactions with different cultures and different levels of seniority.
* Participant-centred and learning focused facilitator who can adapt pace, tone, content and methods to meet learnings objectives, putting mission and cohort cohesion before own comfort and preferences.
* Demonstrate curiosity in people development and esp. in our ability to positively impact people development as a central HR Talent team.
* Stakeholder management: use strategic perspective, active listening and positive influencing to understand then deliver on what’s needed.
* Ability and willingness to take a "hands on" approach, while maintaining a high level or strategic view of programme activities.
* Ability to question and constructively challenge clarity of requests, make clear recommendations according to clearly identified criteria, and influence others to do the same.
* Ability to prioritise multi-dimensionally: agility and responsiveness, and balancing customer demands while managing multiple deliverables/deadlines.
