What are they looking for?
They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing Product & Tech team. You'll work closely with other data engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a robust cloud-based data infrastructure. Your work will directly support data availability, reliability, and scalability as the company continues to expand globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale cloud-based data solutions critical to the company’s long-term strategy.
- Collaborate with different departments to identify data needs and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
- Translate business requirements into solid data architectures together with the Data team.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from scratch to support a high-performing Data Warehouse.
- Operate and monitor data workflows using Dagster, ensuring stable and error-free execution.
- Set up sanity checks and alerts to catch anomalies early in both pipelines and the data warehouse.
- Continuously enhance data processes and infrastructure.
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud-based databases like Redshift and AWS RDS.
- Solid Python knowledge, including packages for analytics, data transformation, APIs, and ML/AI.
- Proven experience building and maintaining ETLs/ELTs, ideally using dbt or similar tools.
- Familiarity with modern data stacks such as Fivetran, Hightouch, DBT, Dagster, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Experience with orchestration tools (ideally Dagster).
- Proactive, independent, and passionate about solving complex problems with simple and scalable solutions.
- Ability to take full ownership of projects from ideation to delivery.
- Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.

- Experience with RAG architectures (vector databases, LLMs, data curation workflows).
