The Network Security Architect (m / f / d) is responsible for designing the overall network security framework, ensuring the organization's network is resilient to evolving threats. They define security policies, develop strategies for network segmentation, and align security infrastructure with business needs.
* Design and implement secure network architectures (e.g., segmentation, DMZ, remote access) for data centers, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments.
* Define security best practices and architecture security solutions for IT, OT, and industrial networks.
* Develop Zero Trust security models, network segmentation strategies, and microsegmentation.
* Lead network security assessments, projects, policies, standards, and guidelines.
* Adopt and promote a security-by-design approach with various stakeholders.
* Oversee selection and deployment of network security technologies and vendors (firewalls, SD-WAN, NAC, IDS/IPS).
* Foresight technological development and anticipate impacts on network architecture.
* Contribute actively to the corporate information security architecture community, sharing insights and best practices.
* Ensure network security aligns with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR.
* Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and IS teams.
* Bachelor's / Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in network security architecture.
* Preferred certifications include CISSP, GIAC, TOGAF, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Proficiency in English; German and French are a plus.
* Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST).
* Good understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
* Deep knowledge of security architectures and frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust).
