Position based in Barcelona (hybrid role)
Your Mission
Reporting to the Corporate Head of Supply Chain, the Corporate Demand Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end demand planning process across all regions and product portfolios. This role ensures creation of accurate, data-driven demand forecasts to inform supply, commercial, and financial planning globally. The Lead partners with local demand teams to harmonize processes, align forecasts, and maintain inventory visibility.
Your Major Accountabilities
* Lead the global demand planning process, consolidating forecasts from regional and local teams to create a unified demand outlook.
* Analyze sales history, market intelligence, and promotional activities to generate robust demand forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
* Drive the Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment with global demand, supply, and financial goals.
* Identify and communicate demand risks and opportunities to senior leadership for proactive decisions.
* Develop and report on KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, and demand variability, driving continuous improvements.
* Participate in new product launches and lifecycle management within demand plans.
* Lead the adoption and optimization of demand planning tools and digital solutions, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency across regions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, or related; Master’s preferred.
* At least 5 years of demand planning experience in a global or regional role, preferably in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or cosmetics.
* Proven leadership in cross-functional and international teams.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with demand planning systems.
* Deep knowledge of S&OP / IBP processes, demand forecasting, and digital transformation.
* Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
* Proficiency in SAP SCM, MS Office, Power BI; Python or VBA skills are a plus.
* Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are valued.
* Willingness to travel up to 5%.
