This individual develops and implements software to support a complex, multi-platform application providing world-class ticketing, scheduling, logistics, and mobility services to leaders in computer hardware and services. This dynamic, 24/7 global application suite is used by the Unisys Digital Workplace Services Field Engineering business, with applications and B2B interfaces to external customers and service providers.
This person is responsible for system design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions for the unified integration platform within the portfolio. They will work closely with various functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into optimized, highly available, and high-performing solutions. This role involves all phases of the software development lifecycle, resolving issues with existing systems, and providing maintenance and deep support for developed solutions, including rotation of 24/7 application coverage support.
Roles and Responsibilities :
* Collaborate effectively with architects, leads, and internal business and technical stakeholders, including presenting technical solutions while understanding business activities and objectives.
* Work independently when needed.
* Develop high-level and detailed designs for application integration.
* Develop, customize, and configure software and environments for implementation.
* Create system documentation and conduct training for support and deployment engineers when applicable.
* Develop system test plans and test cases.
* Provide in-depth technical support for developed software.
* Manage releases and maintain knowledge of deployed environments.
* Complete assigned activities on schedule, take ownership of modules, and aim for quality and timely delivery with continuous improvement.
* Participate in on-call support coverage rotation.
You will be successful in this role if you have :
Skills Required :
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
MuleSoft (6+ years of expertise):
* Designing API layers, data models, and API specifications.
* Developing APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Anypoint MQ.
* Following MuleSoft development best practices to ensure performance and scalability.
* Testing and optimizing API performance.
* Writing DataWeave expressions for data transformation and message control.
* Implementing comprehensive error handling strategies.
* Driving API continuous integration and delivery using DevOps tools.
* Configuring and deploying Mule applications to CloudHub or customer-hosted runtimes.
* Implementing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
* Creating reusable flows and strategies for performance.
* Troubleshooting complex production API issues.
Salesforce (Preferred):
* 6+ years in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Salesforce components.
* Experience with Platform Events / CDC for high-volume integration.
* At least one end-to-end Service Cloud implementation.
* Knowledge of CRM Data Analytics is advantageous.
* Troubleshooting complex production issues.
