**Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for a lawyer based out of Boadilla del Monte.**As part of the Markets Legal team, you will play a critical role in enabling the bank to execute sophisticated transactions safely and efficiently. This role provides a strong platform for professional growth within a highly specialised area of banking law. You will work alongside experts in market products (both structured and non-structured), developing deep technical expertise while making a meaningful contribution to Markets’ complex financial transactions. through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Professional Experience**At least 12 years of experience providing legal advice on Markets-related matters (including derivatives, repos and securities lending). Experience in structured credit derivative transactions (Required)Experience in TRS over equity, loans and bonds (Preferred)Experience in derivatives on commodities (including EUAs and VCC) (Preferred)**Education** Knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset. (Preferred)**Hard** **Skills** Strong knowledge of market products, including master agreements. (Required)Additional knowledge of structured notes issuance and synthetic securitisations will be valued. **Soft Skills** Teamwork and strong collaboration abilities.Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and prioritise effectively..
