Job Description
1.
Lead Research Project Leadership
- Design, coordinate, and supervise internal research projects.
- Coordinate with external research centers on basic, preclinical, and applied research projects related to new active ingredients, formulations, etc.
- Assess scientific, clinical, and economic feasibility of R&D projects.
- Ensure technical and regulatory quality of studies conducted in collaboration with universities, hospitals, or research centers.
- Drive innovation and knowledge transfer into the product development pipeline.
- Evaluate external research or co-development licensing projects.
- Lead the preparation, submission, and coordination of the Profarma Plan.
2.
Clinical Research Management
- Design, coordinate, and supervise clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), European and Spanish regulations, and AEMPS guidelines.
- Coordinate interactions with investigators, CROs, ethics committees, and dermatology centers.
- Review and approve clinical trial protocols, informed consents, reports, and scientific publications.
- Lead dissemination of clinical results and strengthen the company's scientific presence at national and international congresses.
3.
Medical Affairs & Healthcare Engagement
- Lead the Medical Affairs function and align its activity with corporate strategic objectives.
- Build strong relationships with dermatologists, scientific societies, hospitals, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Provide medical and scientific support to Marketing, Commercial, and Communication teams, ensuring rigor and ethical standards.
- Oversee medical review of promotional materials, product technical sheets, and claims.
- Promote internal medical training on products, dermatological conditions, and clinical trends.
- Attend medical congresses and support scientific collaborations with the international division.

2.
Technical Competencies & Education
- Degree in Medicine or Life Sciences related field.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Clinical Research or Pharmacology is a plus.
- Over 10 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or dermocosmetic industry.
- Proven experience leading research projects and clinical trials.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary scientific or medical teams.
- Knowledge of GCP, GCLP, clinical ethics, pharmacovigilance, and Spanish/EU regulatory frameworks (AEMPS, EMA).
- Strong ability to interpret clinical and statistical data.
