Senior Strategic Foresight & Innovation Manager

What will your role involve?
You will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives focused on identifying emerging trends, analyzing future scenarios, and transforming technical, economic, and strategic insights into actionable recommendations.
You will work in a complex industrial environment with a high level of autonomy, contributing to business and technology decision-making while engaging with senior corporate stakeholders. The position requires a professional capable of quickly understanding strategic challenges and bringing value from the very beginning.
In the short term, the priority scope will be related to:
* Bus
* FPT Engines
A solid engineering background, combined with strategic vision and stakeholder management at corporate level, is strongly preferred.
The role requires strong sensitivity to economic and geostrategic dynamics. The candidate should be able to interpret macroeconomic trends, geopolitical developments, industrial policy, regulatory evolution and supply chain shifts, and translate these external factors into strategic implications for product, technology and business decision-making.
Main responsibilities
* Lead strategic foresight activities to identify trends, weak signals, and relevant market or technology evolutions.
* Develop and support technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities and industrial challenges.
* Contribute to product roadmap definition by integrating engineering, innovation, and strategic perspectives.
* Perform scenario analysis and assess potential impacts on business, product, and technology decisions.
* Synthesize complex technical, economic, and strategic inputs into clear conclusions and recommendations.
* Support innovation management activities linked to long-term competitiveness and product evolution.
* Interact with senior and corporate stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
* Provide structured strategic support in a dynamic and cross-functional industrial environment.
What we are looking for
Proven senior experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, business strategy, and roadmap development.
Strong experience in technology roadmap and product roadmap definition.
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to consolidate technical, economic, and strategic information.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
Autonomous way of working and strong strategic thinking.
Ability to operate successfully in complex industrial environments.
Engineering background, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
Nice to have
Experience in the Bus sector.
Experience in Powertrain / Engines / FPT-related environments.
Experience in the automotive or industrial mobility sector.
Cross-functional understanding of product, technology, and business.
Previous exposure to international or corporate environments.
