We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer / Hands-on Architect to join a critical API platform within a large-scale automotive environment.
This is not a purely architectural role. We need someone with strong hands-on Golang experience, able to take ownership of an existing platform, understand how it works, and help evolve it in a scalable and reliable way.
You will work on a production platform with high traffic and strong quality standards, combining backend development with technical decision-making and architecture evolution.
What you will do
* Take ownership of an existing Golang-based API platform
* Design and evolve API-first and microservices-based solutions
* Contribute directly to the codebase in Golang
* Improve scalability, performance and reliability
* Collaborate on architectural decisions with product and engineering teams
* Help improve code quality, observability, CI/CD and versioning practices
* Support production stability and mentor other developers
What we are looking for
* Strong hands-on experience with Golang
* Experience building high-performance APIs
* Good understanding of REST, microservices, concurrency and distributed systems
* Experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
* Strong knowledge of Azure or similar cloud platforms
* Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/streaming systems
* Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
* Good communication skills and ability to work in international teams
* English C1
Nice to have
* Experience with API platforms or API marketplaces
* Knowledge of API governance and versioning
* Frontend knowledge in Vue.js / JavaScript
* Experience in large enterprise or automotive environments
Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible, with reduced hours on Fridays
Language: English (C1), Spanish (B2)
